NO HARD FEELINGS is the second part of the H.A.N.D project, where absolutely anything can happen and the outcome is never certain. Inspired by the work of feminist philosopher Rosi Braidotti, Laura Kirshenbaum sheds light on the dynamics of bodies and identity that are never truly fixed or closed, but rather hybrid, and whose potential for change and transformation is endless.
Back to the Genesis: Laura Kirshenbaum plays with archetypal representation by appealing to Eve's avatars and her metamorphoses over the centuries. With humour and irony, she celebrates and dances plural futures and stories: as much witch as prostitute, snake, bird and ghost, everything slides, everything is explosive.
Powerful and playful, the images break up and reveal their instability upon encountering the body.
Facts become fiction. Cracks multiply.
Here, with daring and imagination, the apple can be not just bitten, but eaten to the full!
