Evening with exerce

After a two-year cycle, this public event held as part of the Master exerce will move from Saturday morning to a weekday evening. The objective remains the same, to create an open communication flow between contemporary choreographic creation and the bigger issues of society.

For the first Evening with exerce, guest Myriam Van Imschoot, acoustic poet and performer, and founder of the Oralsite.be platform, will share the way in which orality and voice meets dance / performance in her artistic, research and publishing work. In the wake of the "Total poetry” workshop that she presents to Master exerce students in partnership with Marcus Bergner, Myriam will exchange with Laurie Bellanca, member of the artist’s collective Kom.post, which explores contexts for performance conducive to the emergence and sharing of narrative (La fabrique du commun, Radio Kom.post, etc.).

The conversation will be accompanied by moments shared with participants.
