Elena Bastogi

Elena Bastogi is an author and performer. She graduated in visual arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, then attended PACAP 2 at the Forum Dança in Lisbon and later a Master in Gender Studies and Politics at the University of Roma Tre. The central matter of her research is the relationship with language, which makes necessary a continuous negotiation regarding the reality that it in fact produces. Through a seriously playful attitude, the intention of her work is to make this productive mechanism explicit by stimulating the awareness of a multiplicity of possible frames of signification.
